0.3.0.2

Hurray!

New patch, this is what we all have been waiting for ages now. "But what is this, New Interface!? Looks really cool in the promo pics, time to see it in game." Those were my first thoughts when I saw the post in HoN forums, and I was looking forward to see the interface in game, and when I finally installed it (after several crashes), it was really disapointing. I mean, crappy heroes idling at the startup, and when you login, a boring bg pic with some poor quality birds flying in it :P Why did you have to change it!? I thought that the old interface wasn't great, but it was OK, now I think it was, after all, Great compared to the new one. This is just horrible, the 'notifications' are too big, and they make the game lag even more than the earlier ones (specially when you are in a clan that has decent ammount of members). And the new hero icons, severs (when you haven't picked a hero), chiprel and blacksmith avatars, it just got worse in every way. Or maybe there was a little plus to it, the game doesn't freeze anymore when you refresh the game list, but thats it.

Enough of the interface, lets move on. "Leaver threshold lowered to 5%" great, this is finally the first good thing you will see when scrolling down the patch notes. After that there come some minor changes to the interface, what a surprise...

Then the real thing, balance, heroes and items. Well, mostly little tweaks here and there, nothing big (maybe the biggest thing is you can sell loggers within 15sec of when its bought). And 1 new ability, thats for legionaire, to finally replace his useless terrify. It got replaced with Terrifying Charge, where legio runs towards the target foe at max 522 movement speed, though he can get stunned :P "Upon reaching the target, forces an attack that deals 150/200/250/300% of your base damage and applies Terrify for 4/5/6/7 seconds to all enemies in a 110 degree 240 distance cone." And Terrify means -50% Attack Damage, +50% Attack Speed now. So it fits a lot better with his others skills now than the old terrify did, and this is one of the best changes in this patch imo.

Also Maliken got buffed a bit, and Valkyrie got great buff for herself. Javelin is now even better than it used to be, the radius got smaller (this is a BUFF, not a debuff as some may think), now you can easier throw it to heroes between creeps, and they wont see it that easy, since the glow and sound are removed. More reasons to pick valk now :)

The most necessary change in this patch: "Nymphora: - Base Armor lowered to 2.00 from 2.08" :D

So all in all, good patch, just the interface ruined it, but I think it will be like with facebook, first you hate it, then you love it and dont want to let it go.

Comments are welcomed :D
